I call this print club "Stardusts & Lovers", inspired by my mind, my spirit, my nature. Aside from looking at art and listening to music, I love reading bits of poetry, prose, and literature that rip open my chest and take my heart out. 

Furthermore, re: the origin of the name “Stardusts & Lovers”, I love the thought that we are made of star stuff (hello Carl Sagan), and the thought that we don’t HAVE a soul–we ARE a soul (hello C.S. Lewis). Now, as for the LOVER part, aren’t we all? We are ALL meant to be lovers, be it platonic, romantic, or self. We’ve all experienced a season in our lives in which we’ve loved something so much, we let it “kill” us in a way (hello Bukowski). We yearn, and long for meaningful connection. We get clingy, attached, loveydovey. We say we don’t care, but truly, we care so deeply our chest would start hurting. And so with all the cosmic and radiating forces in our soul, WE ARE STARDUSTS AND LOVERS, through and through.

This is my core and my “why”. All the exclusive artworks I release through this snail mail club are created through this core structure of mine. I tackle the sublime, hope-intensive, the bittersweet, and even the dark corners of human existence. Way before I even established the name, this has been how I operate whenever I plan the foundation of each piece I make.

May our spirits align in this new journey.
